Introduction Practice Nurses provide many services to patients. I’ll dress wounds, take blood samples, give vaccinations and carry out health checks and reviews with patients with long-term conditions. I joined Hollyhurst in July 2022, having previously worked in NHS Gateshead hospital, NHS Sunderland hospital, and local care homes.
Introduction I support our clinicians in providing care to patients. Including blood pressure checks, blood tests, urinalysis checks, injections/adult immunisations, wound care, ECGs and NHS Health checks. I joined the practice in 2009, work part-time and am undertaking ongoing Health Care Assistant training with Northumbria University.
